Produced by Jack Fisher, Newcastle International: Your Airport in Motion gives viewers a unique insight into the day to day operations of the airport, and shows the transit of some of the 4.6 million passengers that travel through Newcastle International annually. The film was shot over a period of several months using time-lapse photography. This technique involves taking a series of photos which are then merged together to make a film sequence. For this project Jack took over 15,000 photos.
Using this method of photography, one scene can take between 45 minutes and 2 hours to film and then a further 2 hours to edit and transform into video.
