A Newcastle restaurant is set to launch a free networking club for the North East business community this April in time to mark Thai New Year.
From 6pm to 8pm on Thursday 14 April 2016, Mantra Thai Dining Restaurant will launch the Mantra Business Club with its first ever networking event, offering an evening of Thai tapas and cocktails, as well as special performances from Thai musicians and dancers.
Alongside the chance to see in Thai New Year – Songkran – in true Thai style, attendees can also pick up a Mantra Business Club card, which will entitle card holders to an exclusive range of offers and privileges, including food and drink discounts throughout the year, as well as access to Business Club networking events which will take place on a quarterly basis.
Free room hire and free wifi will also be offered to Business Club members at Mantra Thai, which is located on Forth Banks and provides free parking onsite for customers dining at the venue.
On the evening, Mantra Thai’s dedicated team of staff will be on hand to offer guests a tour of the restaurant’s facilities, which are ideal for business meetings – from the more intimate to larger scale – with bespoke packages available on request.
Mantra Thai owner, Jeab Prapunwong, said: “We’re thrilled to be launching this exciting new offer at our venue. Mantra Thai has a prime position in the heart of the city and, as we move into our second year of business, we’re keen to build on our offering to businesses and really put ourselves on the map as a destination to do business outside of the office, whatever the requirements might be. We hope the Mantra Business Club will prove to be popular.”
Jeab, who runs the family-owned business is an entrepreneur himself. He took over the venue in 2014 which was formerly the popular Waterside Palace Restaurant, owned and run by his father-in-law for over 20 years. A £600,000 investment has since seen the venue go from strength to strength under its new name and area of culinary expertise – authentic Thai cuisine.
Jeab added: “Whether people own their own business, are an employee or are just starting out in their career, we’d like them to use this as an opportunity to come along and see the venue and network with each other or simply take the chance to relax and enjoy good conversation and entertainment with their colleagues during what is a very special time for Thai people and our culture.”
Anyone interested in attending the event should contact firstname.lastname@example.org by 5.30pm on Thursday 07 April to be added to the attendee list.
