Foxy Hair Extensions, a leading UK supplier of professional hair extensions, saw its new salon integrating with their trade site at Kingston Park after adding a new service to its bow which requires a more private setting.

The decision is part of the early process of relocating the business from the previous location at Ridley Place in Newcastle city centre, and after over a decade in business the move also means the business can provide this additional service.

The new salon will allow more privacy to offer an intimate treatment aimed as customers with thinning hair.  Whether it’s the result of chemotherapy, Trichotillomania, Alopecia, an imbalance of hormones, blood thinner / pressure medicine, thyroid problems, menopause, stress, or simply being born with the thin hair gene — traditionally, there have been few options to solve the problem of fine, thin hair at the top or crown of a women’s head.

Hair extensions can add length and thickness to a hairstyle, but they aren’t suited to clients with hair loss conditions. Foxy’s new Volumizer system is a nonsurgical, semi-permanent, integrated hair replacement option that is specifically engineered for clients with hair loss in the crown, and for people with fine, thin, and/or damaged hair.

Their exclusive Volumizer hair system for women gives the client fuller, thicker, denser hair. It produces immediate results and requires no glue, no adhesives, and no chemicals. Because it is integrated with each individuals own hair and lays flat to the head, it is totally undetectable and completely wearable night and day.

Jade Garwood, one of the Newcastle branch Foxy stylists, is the specialist member of the Foxy team trained in hair loss treatment for women. After completing her training earlier this year, Jade launched the new service at Foxy on March 6th 2017.

Garwood said: “I’ve seen clients through training who are really low on confidence through losing hair for various reasons. It’s so hard to see somebody overcome a psychological condition but still feel so low about themselves, so to see them leave with a smile on their face and a confidence boost really makes the job so rewarding.”

The inclusion of hair loss treatment to the Kingston Park salon stems from the nurturing decision to cater to disheartened women suffering with hair loss. Foxy are aiming to provide a safe, private and relaxed environment out of the way of the bustle of the inner city. The Kingston Park salon will be tucked away void of customer walk-ins and windows so clients seeking hair loss treatment can visit in confidence. The hair integration treatment will be all explained at a personal consultation with Foxy stylist Jade.

Clients who used to frequent the Newcastle store are advised that all services remain the same at Kingston Park and intu MetroCentre so can visit to make a purchase of clip in hair or book hair extension application or maintenance appointments at either salon.
