The Centre for Life are hosting an event that is sure to get your gamer on! Game On 2.0 is the world’s biggest collection of playable computer games from the past 60 years. This major international exhibition will appeal to families, school groups and people of all ages.

So, visit the Centre for Life and explore the vibrant history, culture and future of gaming entertainment and technology through more than 100 playable games. Highlights include:

Retro
Play on consoles from the 1970s.

Arcade
Enjoy the dedicated arcade games section, including Pac-Man, Virtua Fighter 2 and Donkey Kong.

The hot list
Enjoy contemporary favourites including Xbox 360, Nintendo Wii and PlayStation 3 with games such as Halo 3, Wii Sports Resort and Rock Band.

What’s next?
Step into the future with cutting edge technologies such as virtual reality, 3D technology and thought interface technology.

Delve into design
Dive into the design process from concept to packaging for some of the most important games of recent times:Pokémon, Spore, Uncharted, World of Warcraft, Tomb Raider and The Sims.

WHERE & WHEN
The exhibition will open at the Centre for Life on Saturday, May 23 and continue right through to November 1.

PRICES
There will be no extra charge to specifically go to Game 2.0. Normal Centre for Life admission fees of Family (1 adult + 3 children or 2 adults + 2 children) – £27.80; Adults – £9.95 and Children – (2 – 17) will apply.
