New hotel INNSiDE Newcastle has announced it will open on Monday 17th May, in line with the government’s roadmap announcement.

Bringing a slice of continental life to the heart of the city, the 161-room hotel will be located on the historical Quayside, offering breath-taking views across the River Tyne and an eclectic home-from-home feel for guests to explore Newcastle’s city centre.

The hotel has collaborated with local art gallery, North East Art Collective, to showcase collections from local artists across the hotel’s bedrooms and public spaces.

Guests will be able to explore limited edition prints and original paintings with everything from abstracts to landscapes.

The gallery prides itself on supporting artists within the region, creating opportunities to flourish, whilst also celebrating the city’s unique talent, culture and heritage around the world.

North East Art Collective will also host a permanent exhibition in the communal area outside the events space, at INNSiDE Newcastle, displaying artworks from local contemporary artists on a quarterly rotational basis.

Other creative local collaborations include James Dixon of Lines Behind, who has designed a bespoke Newcastle-inspired mural-style masterpiece which will be used across the hotel; and a local partnership with visionary gaming and product designers Atomhawk.

If wellness is top of your post-lockdown list, INNSiDE Newcastle is home to a stylish fitness hub, complete with state-of-the-art gym equipment and Wexer technology, available for guest use 24-hours a day.

With an unparalleled virtual class library that brings the world’s leading fitness brands and ambassadors direct to INNSiDE Newcastle, Wexer gym-tech offers hundreds of classes, from cardio and conditioning to mind and body, all from top instructors.

Prefer to explore the great outdoors? Guests will be also able to hire a Cycle Hub bike from the hotel’s reception.

The hotel is surrounded by cycle routes, starting with trails along the Quayside and routes that lead to the Northumberland coastline to Tynemouth, or up to Hexham with wonderful views of Hadrian’s Wall.

INNSiDE Newcastle is also perfect for those that like to get out on the water, and its close proximity to the city’s Quayside allows adventurous guests to book a kayak experience on the River Tyne.

Booked direct through the hotel, in partnership with CBK Adventure, guests can quietly paddle beneath the famed seven bridges of the Tyne, discovering the history and cultural changes of the city as you go.
