We’re The Artisans – a North East band whose debut single, ‘However Much I Love You, I Love Lloyd Honeyghan More’ is set to be released in April 2015. Formed towards the end of 2013, the popular indie pop band have already received praise from BBC Introducing, having had three of their demo tracks played on the show, and Frankie & The Heartstrings who invited them to play their own in-store pop show.
The single will be released on 20th April with its release party at the Mining Institute in Newcastle on the 25th April. The party will see the band joined by their friends from Glasgow’s Randolph’s Leap signed to Lost Map Records and local band Slow Decades.
WTA have been working with Newcastle film maker David Wala on a promo video which features two former world champion boxers (Lloyd Honeyghan and North East world champ Glenn McCrory), a female chicken called Alan and a soon-to-be-demolished Hartlepool house decorated with 75,000 beer cans.
