artisan, located in The Biscuit Factory – the UK’s largest arts, craft and design gallery – has launched the new customised service for parties of 10 or more who book the restaurant’s artistically designed private dining space, The Drawing Room.
Diners can enjoy a tailored menu incorporating their favourite ingredients, flavours and dishes – all presented in artisan’s signature style and developed by former North East Chef of the Year winner Andrew Wilkinson.
Acting Restaurant Manager Jaime McGuigan says: “Our monthly Seasonal Showcases, which feature a six or seven-course tasting menu, have proved really popular this year so we decided to develop the concept further with specially tailored options for our private diners.
“Our Head Chef, Andrew Wilkinson relishes the opportunity – and the challenge – of creating bespoke tasting menus to suit our customers’ personal tastes; using some of this region’s finest seasonal produce. We can’t wait to see the new and inspiring dishes he’ll be presenting our diners with in the coming months.”
The à la carte restaurant, which boasts a 25-foot glass wall showcasing collections of contemporary sculpture, also offers its private diners the opportunity to enjoy exclusive access to the adjoining gallery during their visit.
