INTERNATIONAL beauty brand L’Oréal Professionnel is educating in the North East at House of Savannah Salon and Spa’s recently-opened larger venue in the heart of Newcastle. Each course accommodates twelve students to attend the regional academy for bespoke education courses and packages to learn new skills, or update their skills, and perfect their creativity, using House of Savannah’s modern education room and salon facilities.
L’Oréal Professionnel selected the Newcastle-based lifestyle spa and salon venue to partner with alongside other industry-leading brands, Shu Uemura and Kérastase. House of Savannah owner Marc Cunningham said: “Our new location and increased capacity in the city’s Old Eldon Square has given us the perfect opportunity to meet corporate training requirements, from both the region’s businesses and bigger brands such as our work with L’Oréal Professionnel.
“The L’Oréal Professionnel salons are provided with carefully recruited hair models at each course, allowing them to practise their art and gain real experience. It’s great to see the talented hairdressers developing their technical abilities at our House of Savannah Academy.”
Wendy Frame, L’Oréal Professionnel Regional Education Manager for the North East, said: “The excellent environment and city-centre destination were just two of the reasons we chose the House of Savannah Academy to host our regional education programme.
“The bespoke education offering covers all elements from technical, cutting, session-inspired courses and salon development. It is amazing to see the salons – including House of Savannah for the North East area – embrace the education courses and develop their own individual skills.”
House of Savannah boasts a L’Oréal Professionnel colour lounge, education space, spa relaxation lounge and therapy rooms where customers can choose from a variety of luxury treatments from rituals and packages to express brow, nail and waxing services.
