A TYNESIDE musician and his wife have seen their dreams of getting their foot on the property ladder come true with the help of leading housebuilder Miller Homes, just in time for the birth of their daughter.
Rachel Wright and her husband Lloyd, guitarist in the internationally acclaimed band Smoove and Turrell, who have toured across Europe and America, bought their first home together at Miller Homes’ Park View development and shortly after were joined by their baby daughter Mila.
After renting for a number of years, Rachel, 30, and Lloyd, 32, feared they would never buy their own home, but with help from Miller Homes who assisted the Wrights with their deposit, they are now enjoying their three-bedroom Endcliffe home at the Low Fell development.
The happy family loved their new home so much that they recommended the housebuilder to Rachel’s mother Liz Watson, who moved in around the corner from her daughter and new granddaughter.
Rachel, a marketing executive at law firm Sintons, said: “Our Miller home is everything we’ve ever dreamed of, it’s new, modern and so easy to maintain. We were really impressed by Miller Homes and its customer promise – The Miller Difference – and we also felt that the quality of construction by Miller Homes compared to other builders was outstanding.
“My mother was so taken by our new home she had to have one for herself! I recommended Miller Homes to her and in return we received a £1000 reward as part of its Recommend a Friend scheme, which came in really handy for buying a new sofa.
“The neighbourhood is very quiet and relaxed. We’re surrounded by convenient transport links and Saltwell Park is next to the development. With my mother living around the corner we often go on family days out to the park which is great for Mila.”
Park View sales adviser, Katherine Hope, said: “It was a pleasure to help Rachel and Lloyd take their first steps onto the property ladder and settle into their dream family home.
“The Miller Difference promises our customers service of the highest quality and standard, and we ensure we are constantly exceeding expectations by listening and learning to improve buyer satisfaction across all stages of the home buying journey.
“We’re always thrilled when home buyers pay us the compliment of recommending us to a friend or family member and like to say thank you with a £1000 reward to the recommender. It’s lovely to see the family so happy on the development and for each to find their ideal home so close to one another.”
