Heartbreak productions invite you to an evening of outdoor theatre at it’s best, returning this year to Cobalt Park in North Tyneside at Cobalt Central, Tuesday 18th August. There’s no better way to spend a summers evening than enjoying an outdoor performance of Shakespeare sat comfortably in your camping chair with your friends and colleagues in the landscaped surroundings of Cobalt.
Bring along your picnics and refreshments for the evening , pick up something on site from one of the Cobalt Central retailers or visit the pop up restaurants visiting site especially for the event and Dr Tarlos & His Elixir Emporium will also be on hand supplying a fantastic range of cocktail and mocktails for the audience.
Set in the Roaring 20s at a prestigious Oxford college, Heartbreak Productions’ musical adaptation of Shakespeare’s Love’s Labour’s Lost promises to be a fun frolic through the life and loves of three young men. Initially forgoing food, sleep and their hectic social life to enhance their pursuit of knowledge, all good intentions dissolve and distractions arise with the arrival of three delightful young ladies…
As worthy principles crumble and relationships develop, who will come out on top in this light-hearted battle of the sexes? Laugh along with the jokes and japes; and enter into their world of tortured love set against the frenetic and frivolous backdrop of Oxonian decadence. Suitable for those 8 years+, Heartbreak Productions’ adaptation of Love’s Labour’s Lost hopes to wow a whole new audience with an elegant display of wit and mischief.
