Quay Ingredient – The Local One

Set under the iconic Tyne Bridge on Newcastle’s Quayside, Quay Ingredient offers an excellent choice of regional breakfast favourites lovingly prepared using local ingredients. The venue itself is quirky, cosy and always bustling with tourists and locals alike.

This place has accrued its fare share of accolades, making it somewhat of a legendary breakfast venue. It’s really no surprise, that due to its overwhelming popularity, Quay ingredient is spreading its wings with a second venue opening in Heaton next week.

As well as the traditional full English, you can choose from the likes of eggs Benedict, Haggis on toast with fried duck egg and cinnamon pancakes. If you crave some ‘full on’ flavour for your brekkie, I highly recommend the Craster Kipper (£5.95) with Lemon Parsley.

4 Queen Street, Quayside, NE1 3UG

OPENING TIMES
Open daily 8am-5pm Breakfast is served weekdays until 11:30am and all day at the weekend and on Bank Holidays.

Fresh coffee from around the world, free wifi, newspapers and a menu incorporating everything from Geordie favourites like breakfast stotties to more discerning dishes such as eggs Benedict.
